Lake St. Clair is anchored at the south by Windows and has shorelines in both Ontario and Michigan. The 3 Great Lakes (Lake Superior, Lake Michigan, and Lake Huron) drain through the St. Clair River into Lake St. Clair, which then drains to Lake Erie. A favourite past-time by both locals and tourists is watching lake freighters passing through Lake St. Clair.
