Thousand Islands , Ontario


The Thousand Islands are situated just east of where Lake Ontario turns into the St. Lawrence Seaway. Given the numerous islands, the Thousands Islands region is littered with lighthouses to help the Atlantic and St. Lawrence bound/originating lake freighter traffic.
